I am not a professional photographer, I just play one at home.

What Flickr has taught me:

Obvious beauty abounds all around us. It is pleasing to the eye right away. Then, there is true beauty that can only be found in the oddest little creatures and things.

The images we capture in a moment, like, expressions & elements of the human face, an insect that has multiple microscopic layers, and things hidden to the naked eye with details so tiny only a macro can reveal them...are sometimes more lovely than the "larger picture."

At times, the very obvious thing is not really what gives an object its interestingness.

I thank all of my Flickr Friends for teaching me to appreciate life's little details and for sharing their love of photography with me!
