What is Nostalgia? Nostalgic = n.1. "A bittersweet longing for things, persons, or situations of the past."

 

Searching, finding, and collecting old cool stuff is truly what we adore doing...it is our main hobby. It is not uncommon for us to hit 50-150 private and public sales through out Northern California weekly ....no joke. We have been trading wonderful items for close to 10 years. If it is cool to us, or brings on a sense of nostalgia, we have a need to find it the perfect home, which in many cases is our own. Passing on vintage collectibles, antiques, kitschy housewares, rare books, modern - mid century Eames era decor, ephemera, vintage advertising, retro furnishings, historic memorabilia, Atomic trinkets and forgotten fun stuff to tinkers, collectors, builders and widget lovers is truly our passion. ....

What Do The New eBay Changes Mean For Fellow eBayers?

 

The link below briefly caps the IMA interview with Steve Grossberg and Ben Mandall of the Internet Merchant Association who work directly with ebay live, events and changes.

 

When the most informed people on internet marketing say these changes are "disastrous" we better take note.

 

My britches aren't as big as theirs and my knowledge isn't anywhere as complete and informed as theirs..so frankly, I am not going to deceive myself into thinking I can outsmart people I have no control over.....who are...buyers and ebay. Or think these people know less than little ole me. To deny that interview is just a bad business move, IMO .

 

The seller boards have been abuzz for weeks and every new idea on how to beat the system is quickly shown to be in vain by many very smart and long time eBay sellers who have seen it all. The people who say this isn't a big deal, are the people who are in denial or who have not been around long enough to see a lot of eBay tricks in action or haven't read the facts.
