Everyone is a "contact" on my list. I use the "friend" category to share certain photos with individuals when necessary. So, don't take it personally if you mark me as a "friend" and I mark you simply as a "contact." It's because I have a specific use for the "friend" category (and it's not to share porn).

I need to make something clear. Don't ask me if you can use my photos to crowd-source some news story that has nothing to do with my photos. That's deceptive, and frankly, stupid. I've been using NowPublic since 2005 and I only use photos and video that are actually relevant to the particular news story.

Cameras Used: Nikon ES5700 (retired), Nikon D80, plus Hui-chen's Canon IXUS II, and as of September, 2012, a Nikon D7000. I've been shooting the D7000 in raw and using Lightroom to process jpegs.

The D80 is set to color type IIIa, high saturation, and I normally shoot ambient light to capture the colors as they are at that location.
