Mr. Hunter is a carved wooden figure of unknown origin.

Is he a souvenir from Western Africa, as some have speculated? Did he start out in Polynesia? Who can say?

All we know for sure is that he came to his current family via a white elephant party. And now he travels around with his caretaker and, sociable fellow that he is, like to pose for photos with old friends and new acquaintances.
