I used to have a flickr account years ago. I ended up deleting it because I did not like what flickr had become. People were becoming way too proud and arrogant. This is a photo sharing site where one should come to share and learn from others. If a person comments on your photos or sends you a message telling you that they enjoy your work, respond to them because they are not beneath you. I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but now that I have created another account, I want to connect to other photographers so as to learn, grow, and also share my work. I have grown as a photographer and wish for others to see my vision. I am not here to follow someone who only decides to do a 365 because they think they are pretty. Self-portraits are a beautiful way to express one's self, but not when its done everyday with the sole purpose of seeking out compliments on their looks. Also, I must say, if I comment repeatedly on your work and you do not even have the common decency to say thank you, than I will stop following you. I just don't get some of these people that receive hundreds of comments and faves and never thank anybody for their kind words.

I am a wife, a mother, and an artist. I work very hard at being all three. I am forever learning as I go. My life inspires my work and I do my best to capture the essence of what I am photographing. I hope that you all enjoy my work. With that said, if I see that only a certain type of image of mine is being faved (such as artistic nudes) repeatedly and I feel that you are being a creepster, than I will block you.

You can really tell that Jennifer puts her heart and soul into her work. You can see this through-out her stream by the way she captures a person or a moment in time, or the simple beauty of flowers and the outdoors. For me Jennifer's images convey a dreamlike mood and a feeling of the unknown. Jennifer tells beautiful whimsical stories with her camera and her eye and I can't wait to see what she will share with us next :) xx
