My primary interest is night photography. Check out The Nocturnes to get started in night photography. My night photography documentary film is now available for free viewing on-line. Also, check out My Night Photography Website and My Night Photography Blog

Aside from night photography, I'm starting some new projects shooting street photography, panoramic and vertorama landscapes, fire performers and portraits (not all at once). I'm having fun learning some things from the bottom-up.

I often fave other people shots without leaving a comment. After all, that is the purpose of the FAVORITE button. If you have a problem with that, too bad. Deal with it.

Please don't fill up my comment stream with little JPG's of shining stars, diamond rings, crowns and other silly crap. I appreciate your invitation, but those flashy things look stupid. I wouldn't fill your comments with them, so please don't do it to me.

If I had to name a few photographers who have most influenced my photography, I would have to name David Plowden, Richard Avedon, Micheal Kenna, Garry Winogrand, Troy Paiva and Aaron Hobson.

Testimonials

When I started in photography Andy was very kind to answer some of my questions about night photography (he is a master) and sent me some color gel. I will never forget this. It meant a lot to me. Thanks again Andy.

Though I have never had the opportunity to shoot with Andy, I follow his incredible night work regularly. Everybody has nice things to say about him, so I think I will too! Hip hop hooray!

Andy produces some of the most amazing night images I've ever seen and is one of my favorite photographers on Flickr. He is a talented photographer in general and his day shots are great as well, but his night work is simply stunning -- relentlessly and consistently refined to the point of perfection. He has a passion for photography that is clear and evident in the quality of the work that he releases. It's always a pleasure to take a trip through his photostream. Andy is an inspiration for me to try and do more with my own night photography.
