If photographs are windows into another place, Alissa Lenz has removed all glass. Through this clean and empty space created one can peer into the hearts and souls of her subjects, living or not; it is this anthropomorphizing talent that makes her images live and breathe a life their own. Nothing in her hands is base pragmatism, however circumstances may have been to bring about the capture, but all art, in it's purest form: art without question, art without bounds.
