The Late Shows is the North East’s legendary free culture crawl. The event is back again in 2009 for the third year running and this year it’s bigger, better and even longer!

On Friday 15 May and Saturday 16 May , NewcastleGateshead’s cultural scene will be exploding into life as The Late Shows hit the streets for an entire weekend.

Over 20 cultural venues, usually closed in the evening, are staying up late. See these venues in a whole new light as they invite you in after hours for a weekend packed full of interactive events and unique entertainment.

Free transport is available on the Saturday evening, making it easy for people to visit as many venues as possible during this not-to-be missed culture crawl.
