Austin, Texas. We like it here. Lance Armstrong brought home 7 Tours de France, The University of Texas brought home the National Football Championship, and SXSW comes to town every spring break. It doesn't get much better! He's a tuba-playing Longhorn Alumni Band member and I accompany him to Band Day games once a year. The dog is his, the cat is mine. I take pictures and he tries to stay out of them. He's a bass-baritone, and I sing alto (when I have to) and tenor (when I want).
Since I discovered Flickr in January 2006 my snapshot hobby has gained new life. Sharing my amateur photos is fun ... sharing others' photos from around the world is LOTS OF FUN! Things I find mundane are apparently quite exciting to others. Who woulda thought!
I spend most of my time searching for Monthly Scavenger Hunt entries and participating in Utata projects. My view of the world changed and my photography skills have improved with these two groups. The rest of the time is spent having fun in the The Biggest Group. You won't find a nicer bunch of crazies anywhere ... they even promoted me to Moderator!
I am proud to say that I have entries in two of the categories in the Utatan, the 2007 annual big project: Stock and Portfolio. Be sure to check out all the entries ... it's a fabulous endeavor!
