I'm a bike mechanic with photography as my (other) main hobby, since having kids heavily impacted on my mountainbike ride time -relatively new to it, but slowly finding my feet.

Bought an Olympus Pen E-P2 last year, and has slowly build up an unhealthy lust for new lenses. Or used. The people over at mu-43.com calls it GAS -Gear Acquisition Syndrome -but I keep it at bay, by not having a lot of money to spend ;)

Big fan of primes, so I've got a couple of old(ish) OM lenses -50/1.4 - 50/3.5 macro - 85/2 - an adapted CF25b 25/1.4 Fuji Fujinon c-mount lens -and Oly 17/2.8 + 45/1.8 and a Samyang 7.5/3.5.

Oh, and there's a Pana/Leica 25/1.4 on it's way as well to complete the set. At least until I get money for the Oly 12/2 and the 75/1.8... ;)

On my shooting:

I like to shoot the city, day and night, from rooftops or on the ground. Heavily influenced by the CphCph guys and their ninja-style Urbex photography, but lacking the time to prowl the rooftops to the same degree as them.

People -I'm working up courage to start a "100 portraits" project, and since I actually work with a lot of different people on a daily basis, asking strangers on the street for a portrait shouldn't really be that big a problem. Somehow it is anyway.

People in the city -I always have my camera in my pocket or slung over my shoulder. One of the main reasons for buying the Pen was the form factor -I'd never shoot so much with a large DSLR as I have with my Pen, simply because I can bring it everywhere.

That means a lot of shooting from the bike, when I ride around town (which I do a lot) and a lot of shooting from the hip. The latter is something I have to work on, since my aim is hopeless, but from time to time I manage to get an interesting store-front or a nice lamp post in the frame ;)

I't kinda hard to get people in focus when shooting like a maniac, but I'm working on it. And a lot of people look interesting at odd angles as well. Or so I keep telling myself, because I can't bring myself to shoot them in the face, so to speak.

I also shoot my kids a lot, but until now, I've tried to avoid exposing them too much online -one or to shots will probably find their way here (in fact there's a few already), but I try to keep it down.

Oh, and I'm on Twitter
