The Incidental is a community-generated news pamphlet and website created by and for the design community which offers debate, reviews, news updates and recommendations by tapping into what everyone is talking about.

Published during key design events, The Incidental was first launched at the Milan Furniture Fair on 2009 and will return next for the London Design Festival from 19 - 27 September 2009 offering an open platform for everyone to discuss UK contemporary design.

Join our online flickr group and upload your photos of exhibitions, events and observations for publication in the printed Incidental.

When you upload your photos tag them with “incidental”, give them a creative commons license and make them public, this means we can find them and we’re able to feature you in the newsletter (we will always give you credit).

Everything that is tagged will appear online and the best photos will be appear in four printed editions which will be produced and circulated around London during the festival.
