I grew up in the country in south-west NSW, Australia, and today I live with my family on a small farm in the Central Tablelands of NSW. This has a great deal of influence on the scenes that I find to photograph. I have also had the privilege of attending several sporting events (mostly triathlon), both here and overseas, in support of friends.

Photography has always held an interest for me. I love the concept of freezing a moment in time, allowing it to be revisited again and again, evoking those feelings felt at the time of capture.

Many years ago, I had the opportunity to develop my own films and prints. I loved the magic of watching an image appear as I put the paper into the trays. Whilst I no longer use film, I still get a thrill from viewing images on a bigger screen for the first time and discovering if I have really captured the scene the way it was.
