The familiarity of family can't be replicated or imagined. It's not a question of blood or genetics or relations. It's the deeper hidden connections, the reminder of a forgotten memory, the speaking of a secret thought. Naomi is the little sister I never had, and closer than any sibling I ever grew up with. She's one of the dark ones, like me. A shadow creator that thrives on all the usual things (oxygen, food, water) but needs the more esoteric gifts of life-lust, skin-soaking rain, bad dreams, and windy weightlessness to survive. We come from the same place: into inside. Lost in the space that we call the great big all. The world is magic, it knows nothing else. It has no other meaning. Naomi finds herself every time she looks, every moment she touches a planet that has something for all five of her senses. Everywhere she turns, the smells, sounds, sights, tastes, and feelings of creation seek to slip inside. I couldn't be more pleased to have followed her every inch from the beginning until now. It's one of the best journeys I've ever undertaken. Destiny is on her side.
