I'm basically a very casual recreational photographer. Mostly we're in the mountains to have a good time and I hope the pictures relay that sense of enjoyment of being in a beautiful environment with friends and the dogs. If you haven't been to the Colorado Rockies I hope some of my pictures will inspire you to at least consider a visit. My wife and I are not native Coloradans, we moved here several years ago, but neither of us can imagine living anyplace else. I hope you get the opportunity to visit and enjoy at least a little of what makes Colorado such a fantastic place to live.

FYI. I am not that CrankyMonkey on blogspot. I occasionally do get a little cranky but I prefer to keep my blood pressure inside the stratosphere.
