The Collection is the an award winning museum and gallery dedicated to art and archaeology in the historic city of Lincoln. Opened in 2005, the site embraces The Usher Gallery and the new building of The Collection.

The buildings sit side by side in the centre of the city close to Steep Hill and enjoy spectacular views of Lincoln Cathedral.

The Collection includes a wealth of artefacts from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, Roman, Saxon, Viking and Medieval eras as well as fine, decorative and contemporary visual arts.

The Collection also has a vibrant temporary exhibition programme including regular exhibitions of the best of contemporary art. Please see our website to find out more The Collection
