In high school, I long debated whether I wanted to be a journalist or a photojournalist, but couldn't make up my mind and ended up being neither. I still have an insane passion for writing and taking pictures, though.

My Flickr ID - thecatphotographer - comes from my portfolio for my B&W Photography class in college -- I shot cats and I still do whenever I have a chance. I love cats!

I do, however, photograph other animals, landscapes, cityscapes, and even humans.

I don't mind posed portraits, but what I really love is to document what happens around me (and take snapshots of people when they aren't aware of being in my viewfinder!)
