Hi, Im Ron Carney, 34 year old computer geek living in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada. I am married to a beautiful, incredible woman who (lovingly) keeps me inline, and we have one beautiful, incredible son, Matthew. We just had a baby girl, Rachel Brenna, March 2nd. If I were any happier, I would most likely explode.

I have been on flickr since Christmas Eve, 2005. I have only recently (end of 2006) gotten more serious about my photography, although I have always loved it. I have always shot with cheap cameras, until the last few years, when my 3rd digital camera was a niec Canon S3. With the new baby coming up, I splurged and bought a small kit, based on a 30d. I absolutely LOVE the camera, but I still have a lot to learn to reach its (and my) full potential.

I love being part of the flickr community, and I use flickr both to display what I think are very good photographs, as well as housing more mundane, day-to-day life shots for my family and friends back east to see what we are doing. I welcome all critique, as long as it is constructive, and will offer any advice or critique that is asked for. I love perusing flickr for ideas, creativity is not my strong suit, so I occasionaly mimic other great pics on here - if I do, I will give credit, and if I forget, remind me.

I would love for anyone visiting Las Vegas to shoot me a flickrmail, if anyone would like to meet, and if we can't shoot together, maybe grab a cup of coffee or lunch.

I always say I don't care if I make Explore or not, but secretly, I like it on that rare occasion that I do.
