I'm a retired Mountie, living in Canada's. A professional photographer, journalist and writer, I was also the Economic Development Officer for the Hamlet of Arctic Bay Nunavut, where I made my home for 19 years. Now I work for Parks Canada, working for the establishment of Tallurtiup Imanga National Marine Conservation Area, a protected area 109,000 sq kilometres in size.

I made my home in one of the most spectacularly beautiful spots in the world, Arctic Bay at the north end of Baffin Island. A community filled with warm friendly people. But a recent move south has taken me to the other end of Baffin Island, Nunavut's capital, Iqaluit.

One of my photos is one of Canada Post's official Canada 150 stamps. I have a second photo on a 2018 Canada Post definitive stamp. And a photo of mine graced the tail of a commercial aircraft, but sadly the airline company recently changed their livery. A profile of me appeared on BBC's Stories www.bbc.com/news/stories-42889664

I am married to an incredible woman, and have two lovely children. I am, quite simply, one of the luckiest men in the world.
