Artist Statement

I am interested in varied editions using altered repetitions from a conceptual matrix. In this interpretive form of printmaking, I questions perceptions and its relationship to time, forming a diverse belief system. I utilize technology and social interaction to highlight our connection with eachother and philosophical thinking. I highlight this by focusing on deeply personal images, where the component imagery is sourced from both personal photos, and through my networks. By utilizing images sourced from networks, I recontextualize the content, which is a similar practice to creating a system of beliefs.

Through my interactions with small farmers, non-profit managers, and leaders involved in paradigm shifts, I present different modes of thinking about subjects like food system distribution, social networking, the “green” movement, identity, spirituality, and others.
