The Bead Monkey was founded in June 1993 with the opening of our first Minneapolis store, part of the well known and trendy 50th and France shopping district in picturesque Edina, MN.

The St. Paul Bead Monkey opened in 1996 on Grand Avenue in a renovated building from the 1930's. The historic Grand Avenue shopping district hosts some the best restaurants, sight seeing, and shopping in town.
