I am a mad crafter. When it comes to crafts, I’m like a kid in a candy store. I want to stick my hand in every single jar and try a piece of everything. I’ve done a lot of sampling over the years, but my favorite flavors are beading, knitting, and crochet. There’s just something particularly wonderful about making a wearable work of art.

Some of my other favorite things are books, movies, music, and walking in the woods. All of which help to inspire my creations. I love using color schemes found in nature. I am an obsessive collector of lyrics and quotes. I love words. And I love using words. I have a huge family of favorite characters, and whether they know it or not, they too influence my work (and some of them complain very loudly about not getting paid for it. Drama queens).

I like to make things with a bit of whimsy. Pretty things that still have a sense of humor. That don’t take themselves too seriously. “Elegantly quirky,” you could call them.

Mostly, I just love to make things.
