I was born in the middle of the North Atlantic at the very edge of the arctic circle in a dark and cold place called Iceland. Being a foreign service brat I didn't have to linger there for too long, I spent most of my youth and adolescence moving from country to country including the USA, France, Soviet Union and Japan. Once reaching adulthood I worked my way up to becoming a cinematographer where I could conveniently continue my nomadic lifestyle traveling between Europe and Asia chasing the next exciting project.
