I am John...and I am gone to the dogs. I work as LAN administrator for a large bank in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The other human around here is my lovely wife Jen. She keeps me on course.
My pack consists of three darling pups:
Tazzie is my 11 year old bordador. What’s a bordador? I am glad you asked! With all of the “custom” breeds out there (yes your labradoodle and woodle are still mutts, no matter how much you paid) I wanted one as well. I already had a lab/border collie mix, so why not combine the names like everyone else did. POOF she was bordador! I can’t believe how fast 11 years have gone by. We were her 4th home by the time she was 6 months old. I would not trade her for anything.
Next up is Jett, our little man. He is our lab/something/something mix. He is a 3 now. As a puppy he looked like a little lab at first, but now…well...He is Jett! A fast learner at agility and obedience he is a pleasure to have around. He loves to jump, run, and play. He also enjoys training. I take that back he lives to train.
After loosing my Maggie (Magnolia) to cancer (she was only 6) Jett was not the same dog he was. He loved Maggie deep, and was in as much shock as Jen and I were. Jen and I went back to fostering. After some successes we took a look and found that one of our friends started fostering Ava (Minnie) the Black Lab. After a home visit and an approval from Jett, Ava came home, renamed back to Minine (it really did fit her) and has been loved ever since.
After a bad pet photo experience, my wife and I started a pet photo company. Just Pawsitive Photography - for People and Pets!
