We love photography … matter of fact, that’s how we met. :D

Another fact is that we humans are forgetful, not due to disrespect or inattentive, but we simply forget. We have smart phones, organisers and even Personal Assistants to help us remember phone numbers, addresses, meetings, special occasions, etc.

We also have photography. Photography is a great medium to “remember how it was.” Through photography we are reminded of fragments of achievements, events, feelings, smells, through smiling faces, big innocent eyes, special places or certain objects. Some of these images make us lift the corner of our lips while some of them make us shed a tear.

Every image has it's story. And every story is personal.

The Photographers ...

We specialise in Wedding Photography, Portrait Photography and Commercial Photography, especially food and architecture.

Erika Achmadi heads the Wedding and Portrait department. Being married for almost 8 years and going, and having organised her own wedding gives her the insight of how important the design details, sequence and time-frame are in choreographing a wedding, and more important the stress the bride, groom and the rest of the family goes through this special event.

As a Mom of four beautiful children, she easily communicates with young children, getting to their level to bring out their natural expression to be framed by photography.

Danu Achmadi heads the Commercial architecture and food department. His background in graphic design and architecture has refined his eyes on aesthetics, rules of proportion and composition, spatial depth, and technical knowledge on print and web applications. As for food photography, Erika regularly makes delicious dishes that not only appeals to the tongue palate, but also the eye - providing great subjects to photograph, if not consumed first due to temptation.

Location ...

Although we are based in Whitby, Wellington, we have our own mobile studio lighting, to easily set-up at your house or business premises. This strategy is particularly good for families with young children to keep them relaxed as they are in their own environment, instead of going to a strange cold studio. For cafe and restaurant owners, you don't have to prepare your dishes somewhere new and bring along half the kitchen utensils and staff.
