I like retirement, walking the hills, running/jogging (now replaced by some leisure cycling. I can run no more.) gardening, photography, maths, geometric model making, problem solving, music, my mp3 player, my wife, my family, my grandsons and my granddaughters , witty banter, real ale supped in good company, friends, liverpool fc, reading, cycling, sport, the countryside, nature, days out, holidays abroad. I love life and think it's a truly wonderful thing.

I retired 8 years ago and bought a decent camera, printer and appropriate software and I've loved using my camera ever since. I consider myself as a novice so I am delighted to discover Flickr. It is a joy to explore other people's photostreams. I have learned so much.

I use Photoshop CS2 and Photodex Proshow Gold - I love the combination of images and music. I love to watch my creations on DVD, and I'm constantly producing new ones. They also, remarkably, seem to be very popular with friends, family and acquaintences - so they are a source of great creative satisfaction.
