About me

I am an amateur photographer based in Perth, Western Australia.

I welcome any opportunity to gain experience and learn from others, especially in areas such as event photography (concerts, shows, parties), portraits, architecture, landscapes, macro and specialising in panoramas.

My current kit consists of a Nikon D700 body, a Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 ED superb workhorse zoom, a 50mm f/1.8 AF-D prime for general walk-around, a 28mm f/2.8 AF-D wide prime and an older 28-105D zoom for macro work.

As of September 2010, I began geo-tagging my photos with an AOKA AK-4NII Bluetooth adaptor on the D700 body paired to an old Holux GPS Bluetooth receiver. I have reviewed these items on Amazon, be sure to check them out. The embedded GPS data appears in the details for the newer photos.

All neatly packed into a Kata 3N1-20 Sling bag. Occasionally switching to a ThinkTank Retrospective which is one of the best for going incognito.

I occasionally shoot film with my Nikon F90/N90, yes, FILM, specifically Fuji Velvia 50 or 100 slide film.
