i used to take a lot of pictures, with a pentax k1000...beloved because it was a little steel tank, and it didn't beep or do anything much except open and closed the pod bay doors when i wanted it to.

flash forward - a place i used to work said i had to get a cel phone or else. so i got one (which never rang) but it did have a sweet little camera in it.

after 12 years of immersion in the music/culture biz, my ears were the only sense i really had tuned up. taking pictures again for me was/is about trying to see again.

 

i've used some of the images here with words about working together with other people in a book called "Get Real".
