The goal of The Downey Conservancy is to preserve the culturally and historically significant resources of our the City of Downey, California This includes the identification of buildings and homes, as well as neighborhoods, distinguished by their architecture or the association with the people who made a significant contribution to the City and its history, all in accordance with the criteria set by the State of California Register of Historic Resources and the National Trust of Historic Preservation.
