A gargoyle handjives for the hard of hearing
Who is The Dean?
Mortician by day.
Geek extraordinaire by night.
Despite what you may think, it's not really an unusual dichotomy.
I play with the dead during the day (Funeral Director/Embalmer). I am a socially capable gamer geek (on many levels). My soul is dead to the world as well (just kidding).
As of Feburary 8, 2006 I have been domesticated for the second time in my life as Mercurialmagpie and I have combined our lives (not married, just living together in sin. It is much more fun living in sin). It has been two years in the making. This is a grand thing. And no, porn has not been replaced by Ikea catalogs, we have slighty poly mindsets, and we will never match clothes. Although, pink and blue have invaded my life of blacks, greys, and purples.
My career eats away most of my free time and sanity, and what little I have left to scrape together is usually dashed into oblivion by some caper, sharing time socially, or by helping friends cope with the stresses and rigors of life as the "Oak" and "Big Brother".
I'm the most bull-headed, stubborn, grounded Taurean you're likely to meet. EVER.
He is a gadget geek?
My fetish for technology and gadgets is at unhealthy levels and I am a severe Mac Addict. I love my iPod(s) and I have never owned a Microsuck PC......only Apples and a Commodore 64.
He is a Freemason?
I became a Master Mason several years ago. Although I am proud of being a brother Mason, I have little time for lodge activities or to continue my path with the Scottish Rite. Despite that, the symbolic tools of a Freemason are used by me daily in my life and path(s).
There are other, more private parts of my life and lifestyles as well. If you wish to know about those, just ask. Just mind the crop.
