Photography is a bit of a vice of mine , actually that I think is an understatement. I am currently uploading some of my older digitl shots as I find them and you can see I will photograph almost anything!

A life long aviation enthusiast, I went to my first airshow as a "bump" which happened, ironically, to be at Biggin Hill - which for those who don't know is called "Biggin on the bump" as there is a rise midway along the runway.

An ex-Air Cadet with one or two interesting aircraft in my 3822, I am actively involved with the Vintage Aircraft Club being both their head aircraft marshaller and web-master. Also marshaller with the Moth Club, Chipmunk Club, at Turweston and Abingdon Air & Country Show to name but a few.

I've been arm-waving aircraft now for over 25 years, having marshalled everything from autogyro to C-17, fixed, flex and rotary wings!

I used to work at Lakenheath and would sometime wave at the guys outside the fence just to be social and yes thinking I was getting paid for this!!! Part of my job allowed me to take photos but due to copyright - I took them but was working therefore the MoD/USAF own the copyright -so I will not post them- sorry.

I still can't believe I left my dream job to move up North with my then other half before, after a long period without work finally got a job in Oxford so had to move South again. Life changes constantly but gotta make the most of it. Sadly a head full of dream that is supported by pockets of fluff not coins but that is life is it not?

I set myself a challenge to take at least a photo a day during 2013 and I posted them here in monthly batches. I a manged to do this with only one day where I took just one photo. I am not going to do it again - it took me best part of 12 months to enjoy photography as much again.

None of my photos are altered, cropped or edited in anyway and I prefer them that way as they are a true reflection of that moment. In saying that I have uploaded a couple from 2009 that I have annotated that they have been adjusted and how.

I do get annoyed when I can see a photo but my camera won't but I try none the less. My poor old bridge camera is starting to play up so my frustration grows at times.
