The Clocktower exists as a facility to enable image making in a dedicated and inspiring space. The ambition is to encourage image makers to explore the wider world using photography in all it’s technologies. Suitable for small groups, emphasis is placed on personal development, individual expression and the achievement of greater conscious control over narrative and aesthetic direction.

The Clocktower encourages leaders in their field to form long term creative discussions with dedicated practitioners, the hope is that over time a meaningful body of mature expressive work will be created. Photographers’ development will be supported by workshops, individual criticism and the use of the facilities on a personal basis to develop skills, methodologies and techniques.
