I can not believe I am the first person to write a testimonial about Jessica, but here goes: Even though Jessica is much younger than me, she is the cool older sister I always wished my parents had given me: she picks on me when I am vulnerable, she dwarfs me as a photographer and she's supportive when I need a swift kick in the rear. Her photographic eye is keen, and her ability to tell a story about her life through photography is uncanny. The fact that she can produce such pleasing documentary artwork using what most people consider out-of-date equipment (re: film) speaks volumes about her as an artist. Whenever I see a new photograph from her has been posted, I find myself rushing to see her latest interpretation of her family and/or surroundings. More than all of this, Jessica is kind and generous; and in this world, that makes her a rare jewel.
