I started my collection back in junior high, where I got a pair of Pine Green Oxford Converse, which I am holding in the Guiness and Ripley's photo. Every year in the summer, we would go along the Oregon Coast for a vacation, and in Lincoln City, OR, there was a Converse Outlet Store. Every year, i would pick up about 3 or 4 pairs. After that, I continued to find more and more that I liked and grew to a large collection. Now if I find a All Star pair that I dont have and is under $35 (if it's more than that I wait till it comes down) I buy them regardless of how girly, ugly, or unusual they are. And as according to Ripley's article, I do wear a different pair every day and have done so now for 2 years! The Current Count is: 1955 different pairs of Converse Shoes.
