Heya, I'm Tamara, 41 years old, non-binary transfem (she/they), but stuck in the wrong wreck of a physical body, so I'm expressing myself through my heavily idealized (and silly huge) avatar online because it's making me happier and makes me feel more content with myself. Having my avatar to be myself has helped my mental health a lot, after having grown up feeling wrong in my body.

Unfortunately I have to cope with suffering from post-viral chronic fatigue syndrome since age 18, but I'm trying to make the best of life as much as I can. It's important to keep a positive outlook and appreciate the little joys in life to cope with my condition. My life is hardly perfect still, but at least I've been able to overcome some of the issues of my troubled youth and I've been able to find ways to feel happiness in life, in spite of hardship.

As you can see, I enjoy doing virtual photography in the world of Second Life, even if my output rate isn't as high as I would like it to be.

If you are not already familiar with Second Life, it is a a digital world in which the residents are creating all the content, avatars and locations. I'm currently still using assets bought from other residents to assemble my appearances and pictures, but perhaps some day I will gain the skill to make my own meshes and textures for further creative freedom.

Most of my works are of NSFW adult nature these days and are appropriately marked as restricted content for that reason, so if you're filtering out such or you aren't logged into Flickr, there may not be much to look at that isn't quite old and outdated content by now.

P.S: I have to say that I'm not a big fan of "award" images and animations being posted into comments sections. I can tolerate one appearing now and then, but in general I would like to ask people to keep them to a minimum. They break up and clutter the comments too much, making it harder to read the actual written comments that get lost between them. I don't find this an enjoyable experience when I'm trying to see the feedback on images.

If you enjoy my work, a simple written comment is worth a lot more to me than pasting an award image, and silently enjoying something is fine as well of course.

P.P.S.: Please only favorite my pictures if you genuinely enjoy them, not simply because you like me. I would like to have a genuine idea of how well liked my work is and what my audience enjoys. Is something not up your alley? That's fine. You don't have to pretend to like it. I prefer if you don't.
