What all these photos are about? Well, don't ask me, I am just the guy who presses the shutter, aligns horizons and uploads to Flickr.

If you want to know more, ask that voice in my head which is shouting things like "Take a photo of this - and that. And move 2 meters to the left, that will make this shot perfect!"

The technical stuff (if anybody is interested):

Since spring 2015 I've had a Olympus OM-D E-M10. Which I mostly use with the 25mm 1.8 lens. After about a year, I added the 17mm 1.8 lens, mainly to have some more wide angle options. But to be honest, I'd say I create better photos with the 25mm one.

Before that there was a Panasonic Lumix FZ-50 for many years but also the Canon Powershot G9. And it all started in 2005 with a Powershot S70.

About postprocessing: for many years, almost exclusively with RawTherapee. I use it for changing the "important basics". Which in my case has grown to a considerable list of adjustments but most of it comes from my own sidecar defaults. Which means editing a photo is in most cases (if lighting is fine) 5 minutes work, not hours.

Oh, and I have photos from my phone on Instagram, if you're into that kind of stuff.
