I'm on a journey to discover who I truly am. Photography and music are two huge parts of my life. I understand that I am a good writer and poet. It's part of who I am. Another part of me includes all the things that I find oddly beautiful. Like scars, tears, dead trees. And the last part that I know about would be the reader. I love to read; it's an escape from my seemingly doleful life.
I only take pictures in black and white and sepia. My pictures may seem nostalgic, like a memory, and that's how they're supposed to be.
Yes, I'm young. But that shouldn't matter. I should be appreciated as a person just like you. Age is simply a number to me. It means nothing. Not wether you have experience or if you are fragile. Every person has experience in something, and everyone is extremely fragile, be it physicially or mentally.
An interesting tid-bit about me. I am a synesthete. Letters, numbers, words, and some sounds all have color for me.Also, some feelings are associated with adjectives. Not that I see color when I see letters, I associate them with a certain color. For example, B is red. C is green, N is lilac, Y is yellow. The word 'cat' is orange-y, the word 'dog' is brown. my name, Naomi, is purpley-blue. Some headaches are 'metallic.' Yes, I know, this is weird.
I am a very emotional person. Hearing the song 'September' by Daughtry makes me cry. Fighting with my sister gets me angry and depressed. Going outside in spring or summer fills me to the brim with joy.
I know, I sound much older than I truly am, but that's because of all the reading I do and how my parents raised me. I have a much larger vocabulary than you would expect from the average teenager these days. :) (I'm not trying to brag!!)
And that's all I have time for, I thank you for taking the time to read about me, even though I probably did a million things wrong.
