Since 1980 TFO Canada has been assisting exporters from developing countries access the Canadian market place. Serving 146 developing countries from across Africa, Asia & Latin America (OECD-DAC) which includes 48 least developed countries (LDCs) we confront the challenge of global poverty by promoting sustainable economic development through export information, advice and contact services.

Created by an act of Parliament TFO Canada’s mandate is to use trade promotion as a tool for economic development by facilitating access to the Canadian marketplace and share Canadian trade expertise for the benefit of smaller male and female owned/managed exporters from developing countries and for the men and women they employ. We are headquartered in Ottawa, with regional representatives in the three largest urban centers in Canada: Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

Our clients are developing countries exporters and their respective trade support institutions such as export promotion agencies and Canadian buyers/importers. These clients have access to all our services either online or in person.
