Drag to set position!
The Texas Collection is a special library and archival research center that collects, preserves, and provides access to materials documenting the history, heritage and culture of Texas. It also serves as the University Archives for Baylor University, in Waco, TX.
The collection includes an astounding variety of unique materials about Texans: their history, politics, faith, and passions as they carved out their place in history. Among the treasures found in the Texas Collection are personal narratives from pioneer families, dime novels and pulp fiction, materials on Texas Baptists and other denominations, items from the Branch Davidian crisis of 1993, the papers of Dorothy Scarborough and Leon Jaworski, and a growing collection of Texas and Southwestern cookbooks.
