I live in north east Texas (USA!)-- out in a rural area. We have horses and dogs and chickens (oh, my...). Lots of stuff to take pictures of, if you're inclined to take pictures of that sort of thing.

I don't think that people truly appreciate the importance of rubber bands (I just threw that in there to see if anyone would notice). By day, I am a social worker. By night... well, let's just say that I am NOT a social worker, and leave it at that, because I would not want anyone to think salacious thoughts about me (ok, maybe I WOULD like that, but this is not the place for that sort of thing, is it? No! Good behavior, proper behavior....). I want to visit Scotland and Patagonia. I want to run away from home, I want to set sail in a hot air balloon and ride a horse along a beach in Greece. And I would love to have a camera in hand for all of those adventures. Though, pictures may be as close as I ever get to any of them (sniff sniff).

I've always been a picture taker, but started seriously trying to do some "artistic" photos in October, 2010. Decided that photography would be my hobby! (Long story) So, here we are....
