Printmaker and video artist; writer and photographer; currently employed to digitise an archive.

This Flickr account will be for sharing the archive work. I am working at the Dock Museum, Barrow-in-Furness, and a key part of the role is working with the new Vickers Photographic Archive material given to us by BAE Systems, project funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund. The yards have changed ownership over the years, mostly known as Vickers (though many variants, eg Vickers-Armstrongs), currently BAE Systems. However, it isn't just about the yards, but about Barrow and the wider Furness area, and the position within the world.
