I am an amature photographer and enthusiast. I have taken up photography in 2000 with my first digital compact.

It was a 2 megapixel Nikon Coolpix. I was really happy at those times with the ease of the digital format.

Then I had bought the Canon Powershot S3 IS and I was amazed by the results of this compact bridge camera. I had also bought a few books to learn more about the technical details of photography.

In 2008 I have made my move to DSLR, as I felt I wanted more than my previous cameras could offer. This was the Canon EOS 500D. Over the time I have bought some lenses to go with it. I mostly use the Tokina 11-16 wide angle, as well as the 24-105 F/4L.

In 2013 I have obtained my first full frame camera, the Canon EOS 6D and I love it!! Night captures are amazingly sharper now!!

I know photography is not about the equipment but mostly the eye. I keep shooting whenever possible and looking back at my previous photos, I believe my creativity is expanding. These are my tips to all new photographers.... "Keep shooting as practice makes excellence!! It's not the equipment, it's the photographer! Don't buy new equipment unless you believe your creativity is held back by your existing equipment. Finally keep your current camera, as the new one won't make you a better photographer. Change it only if you feel that you are constrained by it"
