Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, he resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he serves as the Vice President of Estate Planning & Asset Protection at Neil Jesani Advisors. In this capacity, he offers expert guidance on sophisticated estate planning strategies, ensuring his clients’ wealth is protected and passed on to future generations.

Terry’s educational achievements are both impressive and diverse. He earned his degree in Nuclear Engineering from Mississippi State University, graduating summa cum laude. Seeking to expand his knowledge, he attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he earned dual master's degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Technology & Policy. At MIT, he received a National Science Foundation Fellowship, a prestigious acknowledgment of his academic ability and commitment.

Terry didn’t stop there. His interest in law and finance led him to Georgetown University, where he earned both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, graduating cum laude. Before moving into private practice, Terry spent 18 years in academia, teaching law, engineering, and computer science. His role as a professor was not only about imparting knowledge but also about mentoring students and helping them apply complex theories practically. This experience shaped his ability to simplify and communicate intricate concepts, a skill he now brings to his advisory work.

Now at Neil Jesani Advisors, Terry leverages his vast expertise to craft personalized estate planning strategies for clients. His knowledge encompasses various financial and legal tools, such as Dynasty Trusts, Family Limited Liability Companies, and Domestic Asset Protection Trusts, which he uses to help clients protect their wealth and secure their legacies. His ability to integrate technical, legal, and financial strategies makes him a trusted advisor.

Outside of his professional life, Terry has a variety of personal passions. He is a dedicated collector of high-top Chuck Taylors, with a collection that exceeds 150 pairs, many of which are custom-labeled. He also enjoys sailing and power boating, and takes pride in owning a 47-foot power catamaran. These personal interests reflect his love for balance, individuality, and excellence in everything he does.
