I'm a software engineer who enjoys using a camera to engage the oft-neglected right half of my brain.

I love the power of "time travel/teleportation" that pictures have -- when I look at a picture, even if it was taken years earlier, I can vividly access my memories of the emotions, sounds, smells of my immediate surroundings when the picture was taken.

You can't always afford to travel, but I find looking back at pictures can have some of the same effect!
