Software propeller-head by day, aspiring amateur photographer by night.

I've got the typical story. In the summer of 2006 I went to the San Jose Grand Prix with a friend who was starting to take photography to the next level. He purchased his first digital SLR and some lenses. After the race we browsed through both of our photos. His with an entry-level DSLR, and me with my Kodak V550 point-and-shoot. Differences were so dramatic that I was immediately hooked.
