A guy who just loves taking photos and viewing what other people see of the world through their camera lens. Flickr is my favorite spot to see what great and interesting images others have captured. My principle use camera is a Canon 5d mkiii. I have stepped up to the 5d mrkiii from a Canon T2i. The T2i took really great photos and was a trusty companion for several years. I then decided I could step up the equipment to the 5d and have never regretted my choice. I generally use my 24-105mm Canon lens but also make use of a Canon 70-300mm telephoto and the standard Canon 18-55mm. I did purchase a new carbon fiber tripod which is much lighter than my first one. I also make use of a remote timer shutter release controller as almost all of my night shots are long exposure. My favorite time to go out and take photo walks is during the night time when it is quieter and fewer people around. I will on occasion go out for some day time shooting. I also find the post processing process as enjoyable as going out and taking the images. I principally use Lightroom, Photoshop and a variety of the great Topaz Lab plugins and stand-alone products. I devote a portion of each day to viewing, faving and (as time permits) commenting on other Flickr members images. I wish to thank all of you who visit my Photostream--many thanks!

Please, please do not post award bitmap banners in my "Comments" section. I much prefer a simple text line which may include why you like (or dislike) my photo, questions pertaining to that particular photo, constructive criticism or suggestions that may be taken into consideration. This will all help me become a better photographer. A simple word such as "nice" works well for me. Should you have a link to a photo that is relevant to the image then by all means include that. Poking the "Favorite" button by one of my images is also always welcome.
