i am taking daylong, historical sites, art exhibitions and other occasions photos as well as groups and portraits photos... however same amount of experimental and switched angle shots have always interested me since the beginnings more than 4 decades of time... i worked as a free lance artist and tried to keep amateur spirit with utmost care

now i decided to label all my artwork focused photos as teograms as labeled thus... for the various reasons behind this nomenclature i actually am in need to discuss further points of views after so many decades of archiving episodes.

Music being basically an art form for sounds, for sound articulations only, when visualities enter into her close intimacies one suddenly might worry in a way.. Madra's works go into the pursuit of the musics in one to one and transforms it. In a way, he enters between the music and the audience. If anybody would like to see the interpreters, he hides them, as if behind a curtain. The strongly hypnotizing visuals, produced and evolved through his own inner logic, stable or in animation but always surely ephemere as designs, voluminous traces, photographs, lights being all over the scene pull us away us off from the interpreters' visions, and in a weird and unexpexted manner, focus us right on the top of the musics insinuating own narrations. Basak Dilara Ozdemir said: Teoman Madra is a multi artist who witnessed all the evolutions of the contemporary art. He tries to be "heard " by new generations as well as he tries to break the boundaries of the contemporary art today in Istanbul and in the world. The history of the Madra-ian language goes back to 1960_s by his irresistible interest in art through music, paintings and photography.Today, he creates short animations, photography oriented animated works and their combinations with the contemporary music that are so called "Teograms" by himself. He likes to combine his works and interact them with a great variety of music from different composers from different backgrounds. Madra offers us a great variety of works in his Madra-ian language and takes us into a journey towards the "no man's land".The journey is so enchanted with different cultures, backgrounds, colours that takes us from yesterday towards tomorrow and we keep wondering in the no man's land without boundaries. He enlightens us with the powerful magic transformation of interdisciplinary contemporary art today and that is a must for those who haven't experienced such an unique art interactivity. zeynep gedizlioglu said: The animated visuals and the musics chosen in Teoman Madra's videos, do not try to become each others forced extensions, and they exist unitemporal and at ease. They neither support each other nor they curtain with any anti effect. Furthermore, within the mild creativity of Madra, putting them next to each other, the viewer without being forced in any way, seizes the relationships between the sounds and the visuals and focus on it. Thus, we are being faced with a new reality created out of Teoman Madra's sound and visuals pluralities
