My tribute gallery to your work: www.flickr.com/ph... Before I made this gallery, I thought it was going to be full of bright geometric shots with a candy appeal - how wrong I was! Teigert's stream certainly has some wonderful jewel-like colour and pleasing graphic compositions, but it was the half-light, soft tones and elegant minimal play with (a)symmetry which really beguiled me. She has the genius knack to see a composition which can function beautifully as a 'flat' geometric statement, then to undercut it with reflection, alluring texture, or depth, to offer something richer entirely. Her disarmingly effective titling adds another imaginative dimension, too, like a lovely invitation to her creative thought processes. Thanks Teigert for the pleasure of your work - sweets? yes, still a pleasure to devour, but with centres that might sometimes surprise you!
