My flickr account has evolved over the years - I've been here for a LONG time...2005. I started it with the intention of posting artistic photos that I've taken. Later, I included historic photos from my family. at one point, I also had a collection of celebrity photos that I've acquired over the years, but since the acquisition of flickr by Yahoo that nearly got me deleted, so I removed them -- too bad -- they're great.

Later, I used flickr to document/diary my ordinary life -- at first I was bothered by the way it cluttered up my photostream with a bunch of snapshot quality photos -- Now, I'm OK with it -- I have moved to another site for that purpose. I've met some great people here -- the mix is interesting -- I photograph and collect erotic art so I have those friends -- I was here through my daughter's school years (she's now in COLLEGE.... YIKES, when did that happen) crafting, cooking and the likes -- so I have friends like that too -- and a host of other Art lovers and makers like myself -- THEN back in 2011 I got married... to the Love of my life - I've known him since we were toddlers (yeah there's a pix in my stream of that too!)

My flickr experience has been a great evolution of my life through these years. I've grown, my lifestyle has changed tremendously and I'm a happy, whole person embarking on the next chapter in my life (i spent 25 years in corp. america - i'm exploring the arts for my professional life full time now!!!! YAY!!!!)

My daily photo diary projects have done a good job of recording my daily life but have turned my photostream into a scrapbooky looking thing -- I've made an attempt to use sets to categorize my collection better.
