Tee OfArcata's Humboldt County Community Connection is all about! CONNECTING COMMUNITY!

{Connecting Community, Enriching Lives!"}

We like to help people find each other and find resources that they are in need of. We also like to help people advertise their fantastic performing groups, art, music, products, businesses, gatherings, classes, meetings, shows, events and small local shops and businesses.

Please feel free to send us posters, PSA's and Press Releases or other information about get-together's, parties, concerts, fundraisers, classes, help wanted ads, freebies, looking for ads, what ever tickles your funny bone... I will gladly post them in our Flickr account in hopes of helping others find common interests and their connection to the greater community as well as a community archive of events.

There are three Facebook "Pages" that are monitored in sync with a new Blog as well...

*Tee OfArcata - Used primarily to advertise events, classes, workshops, parties, concerts, fundraisers and the like.

*The Arcata Flee Market - This page is specifically for listing of items that community members have that they no longer need and are looking for a new home for. You can List your item and state that you are: *** A) giving it away for free... or *** B)hoping to turn a buck on it.

Provide an email for people to respond to. Items can include: *vehicles, *furniture, *clothing, *toys, *pets, *goods & services, *rooms for rent, *more

*"The Humboldt Bulletin Board – A Virtual Community Kiosk Café – The mission of the Humboldt Bulletin Board is to provide Humboldt Citizens with a FREE, comprehensive, virtual meeting spot where community members can share information & connect with local resources.

Community members are encouraged to post Items on the Bulletin Boards that are to be given away or place a statement of what they are in need of... kind of like the yahoo group freecycle ... but on Facebook and for more than just "stuff".

The Blog is the "Tee OfArcata's Humboldt County Community Connection" found at Wordpress... it is still just in beginning stages and will be released soon.

All of these pages are a volunteer service (labor of love), but we hope that it becomes popular. The hope is that this will be used to help people connect with resources and community! We hope to soon have an actual website for all of these pages to run through and be able to reach more people in the community.
