Hooked on both film-based and digital photography: analogue rocks and rulez just as well, but has become considerably less over the last years.

I mainly use Canon digital (EOS R50 & R6) and film-based cameras (everything from Canon AE-1 to T90 and EOS 3 and 1), but also my Leica R5 and some others. Since May 2023 I have been trying to expand my digital black & white photography skills first by using a Pentax K3 III Monochrome and now by using a Leica Q2 Monochrom. I was for nearly 10 years a convinced user of the Canon EOS M system, which I have now abandoned, after Canon has stopped the system. The R50 replaces the M system for me. A Leica Q3 43 has just arrived and is quite intriguing and inspiring. Latest addition is a Leica SL with some lenses.

Licensing my photos

Most of my photos here on Flickr are published under a Creative Commons License that allows you to share my photos in your own publications as long as you give appropriate credit (by providing either my real name or my flickr user name, a copyright and license notice and a link to the photo next to where you are using it) and do not use it for commercial purposes. You are also allowed to modify my photo or build upon it as long as you publish your contribution under the same license as my photo.

If you are in doubt whether your planned use of my photo is commercial, please contact me via Flickr. I will usually allow the use of my photo in "slightly commercial" contexts and for non-profit organizations. However, due to bad experiences I like to be asked. If you want to use one of my photos for commercial purposes, please don't hesitate to contact me as well to obtain a permisson.

Please refrain from commenting my photos by using logos and do not invite me to any pools or groups. Thanks!
